Privacy policy
The short version
- Everything Lori stores stays on your phone. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
- No account, no ads, no advertising ID, no tracking.
- Delete everything any time: Settings → Delete all data, or uninstall the app.
What the app stores, on your phone only
- What you type in: your baby's name or nickname, birth date and optional due date, and where your baby sleeps.
- Settings: sound, mode, volume and theme times.
- History: when sounds played and faded, naps and wake-ups you log, and night feeds you log.
This information never leaves your device. If your phone's own backup is on, it's included in that backup (Google or iCloud), under your account and backup settings. The rendered sound files are left out of backups.
What the app doesn't do
It doesn't create accounts, show ads, use advertising IDs, track you across apps or websites, or sell or share data. It doesn't send your information to us.
Microphone
The current version doesn't use the microphone. A future "cry guard" feature will listen on the phone itself, only after you turn it on and allow microphone access. Audio will be processed in memory and never recorded, stored or uploaded.
Notifications
If you turn on nap reminders, the app schedules silent local notifications on your phone. No server is involved.
Purchases
Subscriptions, when available, are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We only learn that a purchase is active, never your payment details.
Deleting your data
Use Settings → Delete all data, or uninstall the app. Either removes everything Lori stored on your phone. There's no account and nothing on a server to delete.
Children
Lori is for parents and caregivers, not for children to use. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
